Buckets.

My love of motor sports started from when I was a kid. I used to race karts with my friends and we watched old Hot Version episodes on Saturdays and Formula One on Sundays. One of the earliest birthdays I remember was when I turned 6 and got a pedal go-kart with a suede MOMO steering wheel installed on it. That was back in Santiago. After getting deep into my creative career I sort of put cars aside and lost interest in it all. Well not really, it’s always there but I was way more into art as time went by. Recently I’ve been getting back into it as I find myself in a buffer between projects.

I don’t know what it is but I’ve been searching for nostalgia for my next film. I’ve found myself looking back at my own life and reminiscing about the stuff I really love, and cars was one of the first things to surface. I currently drive a six speed Hyundai Veloster N. Shit is mad fun. I got it a few years back and driving it is like driving one of my old karts. I’ve been wanting to do some tunes to it, aftermarket modifications and what not because I think cars are a representation of ourselves. Bucket seats. So so so good. I need some. I got some. Red Bride Zeta II’s. The car hugs back now! I also ordered some new wheels, candy white ones like they had on Tommi Makkinens Evo. I know it might seem like a waste of money for some people, but to me theres nothing more I love than making something yours. More shop talk soon, see you later.
